Metra trains currently are operating on alternate weekday schedules. Trains are being added to the SouthWest Service, Heritage Corridor and North Central Service lines starting June 29. For details, click here.

• Sunday schedules will continue to be used on both weekend days, including, starting July 4, on the Metra Electric Line. (A Saturday schedule will be used on the Metra Electric Line on Saturday, June 27.) Saturday service will be suspended on the SouthWest Service Line and, starting July 4, on the Blue Island Branch of the Metra Electric Line.
• Metra is closely monitoring ridership and will continue to add cars to trains or trains to the schedules to make sure that as ridership grows there will still be plenty of room for physical distancing.
• Please wear your mask or face covering for the entirety of the ride. Unless you are traveling with family or friends, we are asking you to physically distance as much as possible. Help us help everybody commute with confidence.
• Don't forget about the new $10 All-Day Pass. Buying the pass in the Ventra app provides a “Touch Less, Pay Less” option to ride trains safely and affordably. The pass will be available at least through July 31.
